“Used to Know Me” is about losing myself before I ever really had the chance to know who I was. It’s an R&B EP built from the versions of me that stayed too long, loved too hard, and kept quiet just to be understood. Not just outgrowing people — outgrowing the girl I became to survive them.
There were moments I didn’t recognize myself. Times I felt replaceable, invisible, easy to forget. I held onto things that hurt me, convinced that was what love was supposed to feel like. These songs are the truth I couldn’t say out loud back then.
Every track is a piece of what I had to unlearn — the silence, the self-doubt, the need to be chosen. And even though I’m in a better place now, this project doesn’t hide how messy it was getting here.
With smooth R&B and unfiltered, emotional storytelling, Used to Know Me isn’t just about who I left behind — it’s about confronting the version of myself I barely knew, and finally becoming someone I do.
